This year’s 2024 District Guide to APR & End of Year Reports is designed to guide the pastor through the end-of-year reporting process. Much of that process is now completed online, some through the Global Ministry Center (GMC) of the Church of the Nazarene and some through the North/East Texas District. All reports are due by May 10, 2024.
Begin with the updated 2024 District Guide to APR & End of Year Reports. You should download this guide and use it throughout the process to check off the items as you have them completed and submitted.
Annual Pastors Report (Online) – a few notes:
- NEW! This year the General Church has provided an online site with helps and resources for preparing the APR. The links (for English and for Spanish) are in the 2024 Guide.
- This year we are hosting a Year End Reporting Q & A via Zoom on two dates: April 23 morning and April 25 evening. Zoom links and passwords are in the 2024 Guide.
- Note: You will be able to choose a different language on the first page of the APR, in the upper Right corner: click on your church name, select Spanish, then click on “SUBMIT”
Notas: Podrá elegir un idioma diferente en la primera página del APR, en la esquina superior derecha: haga clic en el nombre de su iglesia, seleccione español, luego haga clic en “SUBMIT”
End of Year Reports (Using the District Toolbox) – a few notes
- Use the same login and password which you used last year, OR Get registered: If you did not use the Toolbox last year (2023) – see instructions in the 2024 Guide. Then log-in to the online Toolbox to enter other End-of-Year Reports listed in the 2024 Guide. The Toolbox reports are also due by May 10
- Pastors: Please limit the number of people with Toolbox access to two from each local church. This should be the Lead Pastor and one additional person (Associate Pastor, Office Administrator, Treasurer, etc.) If you have any questions or experience any difficulties when in, please contact the District Office.
- Use the toolbox to complete:
- Pastor’s Short Written Report
- Memorial Roll / Deceased Church Members form– local church members who passed in the last year
- Request for Continuing Staff Associates form – each year, Associate Pastors in local churches must be approved in advance by the District Superintendent
- ALERT: Each Toolbox form should be filled out all at one time, at one session; it will not save your work if you leave in the middle (Sorry about that- will re-format soon)
Other End of Year Forms – may be submitted by mail or email to District Office:
- Church Directory Form – Sheri will send the 2023 directory page to each Pastor. If there are no changes, just email us back to say “no changes”. If there are just 1 to 2 changes, just send those to us by email. If multiple changes, please fill out a new Directory form English Word or Formulario de directorio (Espanol) Espanol Word and email to the District Office..
- Annual Audit Report – a financial review of church finance policies and processes (NOT a CPA-level audit) English
- Report of Ordained Elder/ District Licensed Minister (*who is NOT a senior Pastor) English

Funding the Mission (FTM) – some notes
- Key Point: Please input your church’s annual income on FTM at the ‘Church Income’ tab (the little pencil icon) as soon as possible after April 30.
- The best way to make sure your church’s giving goals are paid accurately is to use the Funding the Mission website (which will reflect payments you made to WEF and Pensions. The page will not show giving to Education and District)
- Look at the District Treasurer’s UMF Giving to Others Report to find your church’s giving to District and Education
